Timber & Aluminum Joist Support

Heavy-Duty Decking Pedestal Systems

Engineered to the rigorous Taurus Quality Standard, our adjustable decking pedestals provide a highly efficient, rot-proof foundation for elevating timber, WPC (Wood Plastic Composite), and aluminum joist frameworks.

Designed for both extreme weather resistance and massive load-bearing capabilities, these systems offer precise millimeter height adjustment. This enables contractors to effortlessly create perfectly level decking surfaces over complex, uneven ground or sloped concrete roofs.

By isolating the decking joists from ground moisture and allowing for rapid sub-surface drainage, Taurus decking pedestals significantly extend the lifespan of the entire deck structure while concealing unsightly pipes and cables.

Engineered for Rapid Installation

1

Assess & Grid Layout

Determine the elevation by subtracting the decking board and joist thickness. Mark a grid layout, typically keeping pedestal spacing at 300-400mm centers.

2

Assemble & Position

Attach the Joist Cradle to the pedestal head. Adjust to the desired rough height and place them onto your designated grid marks.

3

Install & Level Joists

Place your timber or aluminum joists into the cradles. Use a laser level, dialing the pedestal collars up or down to ensure the framework is perfectly horizontal.

4

Secure Framework & Decking

Screw or nail the joists into the side slots of the cradle to lock the substructure. Finally, lay and secure your decking boards starting from the edges.

Precision Estimation with Our Calculator

Ensure a flawless installation by calculating the exact pedestal quantities and height ranges required for your joist layout. Prevent material shortages and avoid waste.
